Reinterpreting the Olivetti heritage: innovation, architecture, community-building

Creativity can change the world: a humanistic approach to responsible business.

In today’s fast-paced and constantly evolving business landscape, companies must frequently find new ways to innovate themselves. This is where creativity comes in, by engaging the unique potential of their employees and discovering a new human-centred approach.

The core values promoted by Adriano Olivetti and projected into the future will be discussed in a live event with Gaetano di Tondo and Stefano Zordan, followed by an interactive workshop.

The event takes place on the occasion of the international exhibition “Olivetti – Beyond the Typewriter”, on display at Vitrina Gallery, HIT Holon Institute of Technology, until May, 2nd 2023.

Gaetano di Tondo is a versatile, inspirational and passionate communicator, with more than 30 years of broad international experience. Culturally curious, with a wide vision of integrated communication on People and Companies, always enthusiast about innovation, digital transformation, evolving global scenarios, combined with a daily sharing attitude, he breathes Olivetti in a daily passionate storytelling linking the past to the future through values and innovative projects: from Olivetti Hystorical Archive #StoriaDiInnovazione to Olivetti #DesignmeetsTechnology. Olivetti is located in Casa Blu, in the protected UNESCO area in Ivrea.

Stefano Zordan is a co- founder of Adriano Olivetti Leadership Institute (OLI), a place where adaptive leadership – a theory developed by Marty Linsky and Ronald Heifetz ad Harvard – istaught and experienced. In Ivrea, adaptive leadership meets the philosophy of the community typical of the thought of Adriano Olivetti, the enlightened entrepreneur who strived for a balance between industrial growth and people well-being. Oli is located in Ivrea, in the historical area ofCentro dei Servizi sociali, built around 1954 and 1959 by Figini and Pollini, two young Milanese architects commissioned by Adriano Olivetti.
