Scholarships for Non-EU Citizens for Two Master’s Degree Courses at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento

The University of Trento has published admission calls for the 2025-2026 academic year for two Master’s Degree Courses offered by the School of International Studies. The first is the Course in International Security Studies (MISS), offered jointly with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, and the second is the Course in European and International Studies (MEIS). The language of all educational activities is English.

Both calls reserve a quota of places for non-EU citizens. This category includes candidates who have:

– citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union and are not residents in Italy;

– citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union with a study permit in Italy and without residence in Italy;

– citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union with temporary protection permit, without residence in Italy and who have not obtained a high school diploma in Italy.

Non-EU candidates ranked at the top of the ranking may be assigned scholarships covering part of their living expenses in Italy, totaling 7,200 euros annually. Available scholarships are 1 for the MISS Course and 3 for the MEIS Course. In addition to scholarships, for a larger number of students, there is the possibility of obtaining an exemption from university fees, based on the score assigned in the admission ranking. An additional possibility of study funding is dedicated to descendants of Trento emigrants.

For non-EU citizens, the call deadline is set for March 6, 2025.
